Link: Dozens wounded after pagers detonate in Lebanon, officials point to Israel

Hundreds of handheld pagers exploded simultaneously in Lebanon and Syria, injuring Hezbollah members, the Iranian ambassador, and others. The suspected sophisticated attack, amid escalating tensions, has largely been blamed on Israel.

A Hezbollah official suggested the explosions could be an Israeli operation, noting that the incidents occurred in regions where Hezbollah has a strong presence.

The explosions caused numerous injuries, primarily affecting the hands and lower bodies of individuals. Lebanon's hospitals, overwhelmed with patients, have issued urgent blood donation requests.

Iran's ambassador to Lebanon was also injured in one of these pager explosions, and is currently receiving medical care.

In the face of these mysterious and dangerous incidents, Lebanon's Health Ministry has advised the public to distance themselves from pagers and urged healthcare professionals to limit the use of wireless devices.

This unsettling event underscores the ongoing, lethal conflict between Hezbollah and Israeli forces, which continue to clash near the Lebanon border.
