Link: Eyeglass company Jins' new device lets people use a PC via head movements
Jins recently launched "Jins Assist," a device enabling computer control via subtle head movements, aimed at aiding those with arm or hand disabilities.
It attaches to eyeglasses and directly connects to a computer through a wire, facilitating movements of the cursor and mouse clicks.
Users can activate the cursor by nodding and perform a right-click by turning their heads right, while still using a standard keyboard for other inputs.
The device's lightweight design, weighing only 4 grams and about the size of a thumb, ensures comfort and reduces user fatigue during extended use.
Thanks to its wired connection, the Jins Assist doesn't need recharging, adding to its convenience.
It is priced at ¥15,000 and available for purchase through various online outlets. #
