Link: Google’s Gemini AI app is getting faster with Flash 2.0

Google announced the integration of the Gemini 2.0 Flash AI model into its Gemini app, enhancing response times and overall performance. This update is now available on both the web and mobile versions of the app.

The company first introduced Gemini 2.0 in December, launching an experimental version for user feedback.

Alongside the AI model upgrade, Google revealed improvements to Gemini's image generation capabilities using the latest Imagen 3 AI text-to-image generator.

According to Google, the new image model offers richer details, textures, and follows instructions with heightened accuracy.

Users can still access the earlier Gemini 1.5 Flash and 1.5 Pro models for the next few weeks.
