Link: Google’s Gemini AI might soon appear in your corporate Workspace

Google's Gemini AI will now be integrated into its Workspace productivity suite, including existing plans like Business, Enterprise, and Frontline. This addition could significantly increase its user base since it eliminates the need for a separate Gemini add-on.

Gemini's integration promises adherence to enterprise-level security and privacy standards. Google ensures that the AI will operate under the same strict policies as other Workspace services such as Gmail and Docs.

Workspace Administrators will gain control over Gemini's data management. They will be able to decide if and how long Gemini's responses and user prompts are stored.

Google has enhanced Gemini with SOC 1/2/3 and ISO 27701 certifications. These standards support organizations in maintaining secure and private use of the chatbot.

To improve user security, Google is introducing the Security Advisor tool. This feature sends critical security insights directly to IT administrators, enhancing protections against various cyber threats.

Security Advisor will extend its features to Chrome, Gmail, and Google Drive. It is set to roll out to Workspace customers soon, bolstering safe browsing and data protection. #
