Link: Here's every Android phone that supports Gemini Nano so far

Tech giants like OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Google are fiercely competing to develop superior large language models (LLMs). These models are designed to drive new consumer, business, and investment opportunities.

Due to their complex requirements, the most advanced LLMs can't run on conventional smartphones. Hence, companies have developed scaled-down versions suitable for mobile use, such as Google's Gemini Nano.

Initially exclusive to the Pixel 8 Pro, Gemini Nano expanded to Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series and later to other devices. Most recently, it has been integrated into Xiaomi 14T, marking the first model outside the usual brands.

This expansion follows Google’s strategy to make Gemini Nano available on a broad range of phones, including those from Motorola and Realme. The device list now includes multiple models from Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, Motorola, Realme, and Xiaomi.

Google's latest upgrade, Gemini Nano with multimodality, enhances AI capabilities by supporting various inputs like text, image, and audio. This version, however, is currently exclusive to the Google Pixel 9 series.

The company's plans to grow Gemini Nano's ecosystem indicates a push towards more widespread adoption and enhanced functionalities across Android devices. Although currently limited to developers, this expansion promises exciting opportunities for app enhancements. #
