Link: Nvidia announces next-gen RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 GPUs

Nvidia has officially unveiled its RTX 50-series GPUs at today's CES keynote. The lineup includes the $1,999 RTX 5090, the $999 RTX 5080, the $749 RTX 5070 Ti, and the $549 RTX 5070.

The new RTX 50-series, set to be available in January, features a reimagined design, incorporating dual double flow through fans, a 3D vapor chamber, and cutting-edge GDDR7 memory.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang showcased the capabilities of these GPUs through a real-time rendering demo. It highlighted advancements such as RTX Neural Materials and the next generation of DLSS technology.

Huang emphasized the transformative role of AI in enhancing Nvidia's graphics technology. "We used GeForce to enable AI and now AI is revolutionizing GeForce,” he stated.

This announcement marks a significant step beyond the RTX 40-series, which launched over two years ago. The prior series brought major improvements in ray tracing and performance.

The RTX 50-series with its Blackwell GPUs aims to set a new standard for graphical performance and AI integration in the industry. #
