Link: One small step for women: Microsatellite built by Japanese amateurs put into orbit

A microsatellite named Emma, constructed from scratch by a group of Japanese women passionate about space, successfully launched last month. These women, novices in space development, had spent around four years on the project.

"We hope to provide a spark for space enthusiasts to join the industry," expressed Ai Tonomoto, a 34-year-old member of the team. Their collective effort in building Emma exemplifies their dedication and zeal for space exploration.
