The fridges are equipped with Samsung Vision AI technology to monitor inventory and suggest replenishments using Instacart's product matching API.

A new camera positioned above the fridge door uses AI to recognize up to 37 types of food items, aiding in accurate inventory management.

Users can manually add other items to their food list using the Samsung Food app, either on the fridge or a smartphone.

This technology not only simplifies creating shopping lists but also updates them automatically as items are purchased or used in recipes.
