Link: Spotify’s AI playlist builder is now available in the US

Spotify is expanding its AI Playlist feature to more English-speaking regions, allowing users with Premium subscriptions to generate custom playlists from descriptive text. This rollout includes the US, Canada, Ireland, and New Zealand, following successful launches in the UK and Australia.

To access this feature, Spotify Premium users need to tap the "+" button at the top right of their app library. Selecting "AI Playlist" from the drop-down menu opens a chat box where users can describe the type of playlist they want.

The AI-generated playlists consist of 30 songs tailored to users' descriptions, such as specific genres, moods, or even unique themes. It is particularly effective for detailed prompts, like creating a playlist that makes you feel like a vampire hunter from the movie Blade (1998).

The AI Playlist is currently only accessible on Spotify's mobile app, not on desktop or web applications. Users can enhance their playlist experience by adding further prompts to adjust the music vibe.

Spotify is continuously refining this AI feature based on user interactions and feedback during its beta phase. The company is committed to improving AI Playlist, ensuring it better serves users' customized music needs.#
