Link: Three Call of Duty games are coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming on October 25th

Microsoft will offer Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, and Call of Duty: Warzone on Xbox Cloud Gaming starting October 25th. This marks the first ever launch-day availability for a Call of Duty game on the platform, a significant milestone following Microsoft’s purchase of Activision Blizzard.

Ashley McKissick, Xbox's corporate vice president, highlighted this as a groundbreaking achievement for the Call of Duty community. An Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription is required to access these games.

The games will be accessible on a variety of devices including consoles, PCs, mobile devices, and even some TVs. This expansion significantly enhances the flexibility and reach of Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Following the launch, Microsoft plans to enable players to stream their own game purchases that aren’t included in the Xbox Game Pass library in November. The initial phase will involve Xbox Insiders and a limited number of additional games.

This capability will extend to more users and more games as Microsoft upgrades its cloud servers to support streaming of thousands of titles. Meanwhile, starting November 1st, Xbox game purchases will be possible via the Xbox mobile app on Android in the US.

This new feature is made possible by a recent court decision that prohibits Google from mandating Google Play Billing, allowing immediate streaming after purchase. #
