OpenAI's president, Greg Brockman, and another co-founder, John Schulman, have taken extended leaves. Schulman has moved to Anthropic, a serious competitor, while Peter Deng, a product leader at OpenAI, has also departed. These shifts in leadership follow CEO Sam Altman's firing and subsequent rehiring in November. Despite seeming unrelated, these changes appear indicative of the company's struggles to stabilize its leadership.

Based on past patterns, I predict this upheaval may precede a new round of product releases from OpenAI. #
