Link: You can escape this Royal Caribbean cruise aboard a virtual train ride

The recently docked Royal Caribbean Utopia of the Seas in Florida, a 5,668-passenger mega-ship, has previewed its unique amenities before its official operation begins on July 19th. Among their offerings is the Royal Railway Utopia Station, a distinct dining experience where passengers can simultaneously eat and watch simulated picturesque scenes displayed on sizable screens, all on a virtual train ride. Resembling two full-scale rail carriages, the dining venue boasts an opulent interior with four-person booths each situated alongside a large individual screen for a virtual viewing experience. These virtual landscapes, with the first themed as the Western era showcasing mountains, canyons, and gold rush towns, will evolve periodically over a year. #
